Do you love cooking but have never cooked before? So, here we have some ideas to help the beginner cook properly for the first time. We understand that the first time is special and as it needs a lot of care to do anything; so is cooking. These are some tidbits to follow for the dish to be made the perfect one. So, here's some handy cooking advice for the beginners.
So, check out the ideas right below now.
Read the recipe properly
Don't just go through the recipe and start preparing for it. Read the recipe thoroughly and then start doing it. Check the ingredients and its proportions properly so that you won't miss on anything.
Organise your time
Maintaining your time will help you do the work smoothly. Before starting with your recipe, decide which task needs to be done and time it accordingly.
Don't put too many things in the pan
Don't try to do many things together. This may leave the food uncooked or even damage the pan.
Use the knife properly
Don't take the cutting part carelessly. A chef's knife will help you to cut the veggies in the proper shape to give your food an Instagrammable look. So, never take any normal knife instead take the chef's one and be like a pro while cooking.
Use quality ingredients only
Often we compromise with the ingredients to save money, which may later result in unpalatable food. So, even if it requires you to shell out a bit more, do it and always opt for fresh quality ingredients only. Be careful to not use too old or expired products for your cooking.
Always pay attention when the food is being cooked
If you have put any food item in the oven to get it boiled, do not leave the kitchen until it is done. If not paid attention, the food is likely to get burnt. For that to not happen, always be attentive while the food is being cooked.
Don't take a cold pan for food
When you put meat into a cold pan, the meat is going to release moisture as it heats up. So, before putting the meat on the pan, heat it up a bit to lock the moisture in the meat properly. By preheating the pan first, you are giving your meat a nice searing which will hold in all the yummy juices.

‘Better Call Saul’ Is Now Offering Cooking Tips

Better Call Saul‘s Lalo Salamanca once tortured a hotel proprietor for disrespecting the him and burned the proprietor to death and his hotel down. He kept the bell from that hotel as a souvenir, and gave it to his uncle, Hector Salamanca, who later used it trigger the explosives that killed Gus Fring.
Lalo Salamanca is a violent, sadistic man, but he’s also a very good cook. Recall that his introduction to the series came when he made a delicious meal for Nacho, although when Lalo talks about food, it always sounds vaguely threatening.
In the upcoming fifth season of Better Call Saul, Lalo is likely to put his charm and love for food to good use against Gus Fring, who Lalo believes is exploiting the ill health of Hector to his advantage. Lalo — who is also a cousin to the psychopath Tuco — has stepped in and taken over the cartel business in Hector’s absence, and his first order of business will be to track down the giant meth lab that Gus is building with the aid of Mike. It will almost certainly put Mike and Gus on a collision course with Lalo, and Nacho may end up becoming collateral damage.
Here he is showing us how to make the perfect taco, a taco so good that “you’ll drown your brother, just for a taste.” It’s the latest in a series of promos for the upcoming Better Call Saul season, offered as a reminder to viewers who may have forgotten what’s going on in the year and a half since the series last aired. The season will cover Jimmy’s transformation and the fall-out with Kim, while Lalo will be the main antagonist to Gus Fring and Mike Ehrmentraut.
Better Call Saul‘s second to last season premieres on February 23rd, as it works toward a series finale expected to be better than that of Breaking Bad.

Which Part Of Chicken Should You Use?
Chef Ashish Massey tells us that two of the most popularly used parts are chicken breasts and leg thigh (boneless). "As a cost-cutting technique, many restaurants tend to use chicken breasts. They are also low in fat, but the downside here is that they tend to get chewy, they also get hard if you cook them for too long. Chicken thigh is juicy, soaks the marination well. But it is higher in fat content."

    What About Marination?
This is the most crucial component of making tikkas. Traditionally, there are two levels of marination says Chef Ashish. In the first marination, chicken chunks need to be tossed in ginger-garlic paste, salt and red chili powder and left for 24 hours. For the second marination that usually lasts for duration of 8-10 hours, you can use your hung curd, pudina, chillies etc. This is important as chicken tends to ooze water when kept in deep-freeze.
What About The Ingredients Used In Marination?
Make sure you try to use hung curd. Hung curd is basically curd without its watery whey. It is easily available in market nowadays. If you are using regular curd, you must understand that it is very watery. Whisk it well to make it rich and creamy. Common ingredients used to marinate chicken are turmeric, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, hung curd, coriander powder, besan, black pepper powder, kasuri methi, garam masala etc.

Do roast some bell peppers too, red, green, yellow or all of them. They bring about a nice crunch and freshness into the meaty extravaganza.
It is a good practice to brush your chicken tikka with a little oil, preferably mustard to make sure it does not stick to other tikka or your equipment, and has a nice smoky glaze when you serve it. Here's a recipe of quick reshmi chicken tikka.
